Enduring Guardianship

An Enduring Guardianship is a document that you can prepare which seeks to appoint a trusted person to make decisions in relation to your health and medical treatment in the event that you are unable to do so.

An Enduring Guardianship is a document that you can prepare which seeks to appoint a trusted person to make decisions in relation to your health and medical treatment in the event that you are unable to do so. An Enduring Guardianship is a legally binding document.

An Enduring Guardianship can appoint more than one guardian. Similarly, an Enduring Guardianship can be revoked at any time. 

All parties to the Enduring Guardianship must be over the age of 18, must meet capacity requirements and must not be involved in your medical care or treatment.
