Rachael Parr

Rachael was admitted to practice in 2020 and has worked almost exclusively in family law since her admission to the High Court of Australia in 2021. Rachael joined Family Focus Legal in 2024.

Prior to joining Family Focus Legal, Rachael worked across boutique and mid-sized firms throughout Sydney and the Illawarra. Alongside her family law practice, Rachael has gained extensive experience in Wills & Estates, including litigated estate disputes in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Rachael has a broad range of experience in family law, including complex parenting and property disputes, child support, spouse maintenance, recovery applications, contravention applications and divorce. Rachael’s experience across a broad range of practice areas enables her to approach her family law matters with a unique perspective.

Rachael’s strategic and empathetic approach to law ensures that her clients feel supported as they navigate the family law process, including the Court system. Rachael regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

Rachael is currently undertaking a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law which she is due to complete in 2025. Rachael is also a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends and going for walks at her local beach.
